Mom, You Are a Hero - Mommy's Next Step Motherhood in faith of Islamic Religion

"You are a hero," Mr. Admiral said to me.

I was helping him with his lunch. 

"I'm not a hero," I replied.

"You are a cooking hero," that almost 5 yo boy said. 

Wow...masha Allah. I never knew that he had a thought like that. For him, at that moment perhaps, I'm his hero in cooking. It's probably meant that he liked what I cooked.

I got speechless. I thought I should look in to myself deeper. Do I really have that hero? I think I disregard myself too often.

I suddenly remembered a form that I had just filled. Mr. Admiral is going to kindergarten this year, so I went to see the teacher of the nearest kindergarten. They gave me a link because everything is done by online now, including the school registrstion. The documents should be sent online too.

So I filled the form and got a little disappointed (again) with this kind of columns. It's said 'Mom's job title and monthly salary'. There was an option called 'Unemployed'. Is this supposed to be an SAHM's job title? I didn't want that so I chose 'Other' and filled the blank with 'SAHM'.

Several years ago when I did the registration of my second son, Mr. Professor, I found those same options too. 'Unemployed' and 'Other'. I consistently chose 'Other: SAHM'.

It's because I'm not an unemployed, I work at home serving my family. I don't receive payment, yes, but that doesn't mean that I'm an unemployed person. 

And Mr. Admiral has shown me that. I am a hero. At least a cooking hero for my son. So, should I change my job title from 'Other: SAHM' to 'Other: hero'?
