Tell Your Children About Your Childhood Life - Mommy's Next Step Motherhood in faith of Islamic Religion

 Hi assalamu alaikum.

I don't know whether you guys do it a lot to your children or not. But I love to talk about my childhood to my children. I've been longing for it since my sons were babied. And hey, now it is the time.

I talk about my childhood experience as a Gen-X girl did. And my sons usually pay attention to my stories. As they know a lot about my hometown, so they understood the root of the stories as well. 

My favorite part of telling them my younger life is that I get new fans. Lol. I mean, yes. They listen to me, ask me questions and sometimes tell their friends about it. They even discuss the stories on their own. Like when they did something that remind them of my stories, they would talk about it, compared it to their own experience.

Mr. Inventor really loves computer. So whenever I tell him about computer of my age he seemed very interested. I think it's a good way to talk to your children. Discuss about the similar passion can be so fun.

I also tell them about my dreams, my best days, my silly days and it's amazing to see their reaction.

When they were younger I also did it. And you know what, they became so rich in vocabulary. Even of my neighbours told me that. 

I think it is great to share your old story with your children. What about you?
