Hi, assalamu alaikum.
Rain has been a rare phenomenon here in Indonesia. It is said that rainy season (or wet season) comes from October to April each year. But, it's December and rain has not come yet regularly.
We had rain on November several times (3x maybe), but only lite rain. We really hoped rain soon would came.
However, we should be grateful to Allah. On December 3rd finally heavy rain fell down.
It was heavy. Really. I even couldn't believe it!
Allahumma shoyyiban nafi'an.
After that, rain came again on December 5th. Heavy rain twice.
Rain has become a thing we hoped and also what made us worried.

We reconstructed our home roof last January. It was quite big renovation. We remade the main roof, bathroom and floor in some areas. It took almost 2 months to finish.
When they were done, rainy season has gone. So we didn't know whether the roofing system work well or not.
As an addition, we replaced our canopy which was at the very front of the house.
We put the canopy continuously from Northen to Southern part of the house. It took a week to finish.
Now, here comes the rain. We are waiting for the result of the roofing system.
Alhamdulillah, after two days of rain we only saw a little leakage. One in Mr. Inventor's room, which means under the main roof of the house. The other one is in the Northern part under the canopy.
Small leakages, alhamdulillah however.
Living room, terrace, Mr. Professor's room which were the places where medium leakages existed are safe.
It means that the new roof is good enough.
We hope so. Because the rain will come almost every day from now, insha Allah.
And the new leakages? We'll fix them sooner insha Allah.
